Krampen used to be one of the stations along the KURJ railway. The station is today demolished. it remains only one small building. During the Second World War, there was a large Russian camp here. Russian soldiers who had fled the war, were gathered here, in one of many places like it in the area of Bergslagen, well hidden in the wood.

The site is new for Ekomuseum and a full description in English will come later this year. For more information please contact Skinnskatteberg tourism +46 (0)222 450 45, www.skinnskatteberg.se.
